Testing

Here is another test shot that I did in studio.
I went in knowing that it wouldn't turn out the way I was hoping.
I was already having a bad day after not being able to find blue macarons to go with these.
So I shot what I could.
I really liked the macro lens I was using though. Love that shallow depth of field.

Test shots for food cover brief (assignment)

I like this second shot better. This is in natural lighting, outside.
I may also experiment with doing some of these shots in studio as well.
Unless I can perfect them at home, which I think I can.
It's all about the composition and textures. As long as I can pull it off.

A photo from a small shoot on the weekend.

I basically just wanted to do a few shots with Tim, just to test out different things with my camera
and to have a bit of fun.
I was playing around with this image on photoshop today in class, and I quite like how it turned out.
He looks adorable as usual :3

Soundwave.

Soundwave was so amazing this year.
It was my second soundwave and definately my favourite so far.

I saw the following bands:
  • Crossfaith
  • Memphis may fire
  • Miss may I
  • Gallows
  • Stone Sour
  • While She Sleeps
  • Of Mice and Men
  • Killswitch Engage
  • Ghost
  • Sleeping with Sirens
  • Bring me the Horizon
  • The Amity Affliction

I was front row on the barrier for Ghost, sleeping with sirens, BMTH and TAA. Which was about 4-5 hours. It was sooooo amazing, but my body is so sore after standing for that long on the barrier with people all around me.
Kellin Quinn touched me as he went past at the end of SWS performance which was awesome!
I thought Ghost was super cool! Their performance was really good and very interesting and creepy which I really liked.
BMTH were good as always (saw them the night before soundwave as well). Wish they played more songs off the new album because I'm in love with it right now!
But yes my body is paying for it all now.
